There have not been many Musings of a muse for a while but I feel compelled to speak out.

Yes we are in big, big trouble and yes I am afraid, and yes we still have morons who continue to live in a false reality that they created and continue to nurture it this very moment. They make we want to scream. This building of a false reality has been going on for a long time. I can remember my father railing against it back in the late 60s. I was a young woman then and I didn't really understand. But I certainly do now. Some people can't think for themselves, blindly obey authority, and often download their opinions.

There are those of us who have hope and want to make the future bright. But there are those who like to pick at some small detail, to create a negative vibe. They think that we should continue down the path of the previous administration. They are good foot soldiers, doing what they are told, never thinking for themselves.

But as the president said, "We won". I'm not going to let other people's incredible greed and maniacal thirst for power sap any of my energy. I am going to stay positive and work toward making the future a bright one.

I am going to put my fear away and put my thinking cap on. It feels as though the foundation of everything I thought was true or a reality has been shaken. It makes me quite nervous.

But then I think about my little granddaughter. And I realize that if the future has to be bright for her. I must become an example of positive, creative energy. As the president said " we must dust our selves off …" and that is what I am going to do.

Wringing of hands, complaining, fretting, getting depressed are energy drains.

Time to think outside the box, use my expertise to help others, try every possibility, no matter how remote it may seem. These are positive actions that give hope, create possibilities and set a good example.
